About Us

The Local Internet connects people, businesses, communities, and opportunities through shared local digital infrastructure.

Our Mission

To make local information — businesses, places, and community opportunities — easy to find, trustworthy, and connected, from the neighborhood level to the nation.

Our Story

The business began with local online marketplaces. Over time those sites grew into a larger interconnected network sharing one set of records, places, and rules.

What We Are Building

The Local Core: shared infrastructure connecting geographic destinations, business information, discovery experiences, and participating websites. One canonical business record, many local presentations.

Our Technology & Infrastructure

  • Shared Business Record registry with governed public fields
  • Geographic place hierarchy (city → county → state → nation)
  • Discovery and distribution across participating sites
  • Read-only public data interfaces

Our Marketplace Network

Independent marketplaces and Core-connected surfaces are distinct and are counted separately. Verified, dated network figures will be added here once an approved snapshot is available.

Our Vision

A connected national-to-local digital ecosystem where every community has a useful, trustworthy local internet.

Corporate Ownership

The business is founder-owned and independently developed. See Company Structure for current and proposed entities.

Partnership and Investment Opportunities

We welcome conversations with partners and qualified investors and acquirers.
